We’re excited to begin our eighth year of production in Barnegat, NJ on our 27.5 acre working farm. At Sassafras Hill Farm, we nurture the soil and ecology of the land through regenerative and sustainable farming practices. We grow all Certified Naturally Grown produce—to a stricter standard than USDA Organic, assuring the freshest most vibrant bounty of in-season, hand-harvested, delicious, and nutritious produce. We produce mixed specialty and heirloom vegetables, mushrooms, microgreens, small fruits & berries, herbs, flowers, honey and pasture-raised eggs.

2023 Farmers’ Markets & Events
CSA Membership
Our traditional CSA program runs for 20 weeks and is available weekly or bi-weekly. We also offer a Beach Season share that runs for 12 weeks (weekly or bi-weekly) and is especially for those who are visiting LBI for the summer and want to take advantage of the summer harvest. In addition to our 100% chemical free, non-GMO produce, we offer an Egg CSA from our farm’s organically, pasture-raised hens. We also offer a fresh flower bouquet CSA and Naturally leavened, true Sourdough Bread CSA.
